Over time, the Chiklis house has become the house where friends and family gather. Graduations, holidays, birthdays, football, you name it…our house is the spot.
I always try to mix things up when it comes to the beverages (I get bored of the same old cocktails and juices), and I thought it might be fun to offer a spritzer bar at my next big party. So Tori Avey from The Shiksa in the Kitchen came over last week to show me how to impress guests with an easy and refreshing spritzer bar selection.
The beauty of these spritzers is that you can add just about anything to change up the flavors, so feel free to get creative with the ingredients and mixers. Another fun thing to add to the bar might be an herb-infused simple syrup. (Tori shares a great recipe here!)
- Large bowl of ice
- Serving glasses
- Fruit-flavored Italian sodas or sparkling waters in a variety of flavors
- Agave nectar and/or simple syrup for sweetening
- Prosecco wine (optional- a mixer for the grown-ups!)
Optional Ingredients – Choose Your Favorites
Fresh Fruit Add-Ins
- Orange, blood orange, lemon and lime slices

- Pineapple cubes
Savory and Spicy Add-Ins

After a long, fun-filled weekend with middle school girls, I enjoyed my spritzer with Prosecco. Cheers!
